Atlas

Gaming SaaS

overview

As an investor-backed team, how can Atlas set up useful and user-friendly internal operating systems and individual dashboards that increase the company's inherent value and provide the foundation for scaling? In this project, the Atlas team and I collaborated to develop a project management system, CRM, financial dashboards, investor-facing dashboards, and more. All of this was integrated across multiple tools via API automations.

THE PROBLEM

At the start, the team used multiple fragmented tools with unfriendly user interfaces and no clear method for effective internal collaboration. As the team and its market impact grew significantly, this led to chaos within the team and a lack of clarity for the leadership team and investors.

THE GOAL OF THE PROJECT

The envisioned new situation involves centralized processes for organizing and tracking client and internal company projects, a CRM for tracking multiple types of contacts in the team’s network, and visual dashboards that provide leadership and investors actionable insights from the data.

THE WORK PROCESS

To achieve the desired state of operations, we started by creating entity relationship diagrams that illustrated the business logic and workflows within various teams and defined the relationships among key tables in the systems. Once this foundational logic was in place, we defined the software for each system and developed the workflows and automation. Finally, we built dashboards for individuals, teams, and investors to provide centralized summary views of data from multiple sources.

THE OUTCOME

The Atlas team can now use a fully-developed and scalable system for collaborating on projects, tracking relationships, and reviewing progress and insights. This new asset increases the company's valuation, boosts team confidence by aligning actions and rewards, and helps attract and retain talent as the company grows.
